LostGolfBalls.com thoughts?

What are y'alls thoughts on this site? I'd love to play new balls all the time but I've been fortunate to play a lot of golf (5+ times a week) and need to be more cost effective about balls.
I've been getting a lot better so I'm down to losing maybe 1 ball a round, with multiple rounds in a row without losing any. Handicap is starting to get into the 20's now after starting last summer in the 40's.
All this to say, I'd like to use nicer golf balls as I have seen statistical improvement when I do use them (I use Arccos) but I also don't want to shell out $40-50+ per dozen. Have any of you used LostGolfBalls.com? They seem pretty legit and have good reddit reviews it seems, but what are TD's thoughts? They seem to really push their refinished balls and have a great price. If they're maybe not totally as good as a brand new ball, but still better than buying the entry tier new balls, I will take that as a win.
Not competing in tournaments or anything like that, just playing with myself and friends.

Handicap in the 20s and you only lose one ball a round?

Highly recommend them, they are based out of the Houston area. So shipping is fast.
I play Taylormade Tour Response which are around $40.00 retail price. You can get Mint Condition for $22.99 on the website. However the same ball in the stripe version coasts $29.99. So I just order the plane white tour response. They always have sales too, currently they are offering 15% off code.

We don't have a ton of water on my home course and we have cut down A LOT of the high grass that used to make up a lot of our rough. So currently playing conditions have been favorable to that. But I have been getting legitimately better as well. So there's a few factors at play. I'd have to go back to last season now before I can remember losing more than a ball in a round.

Ordered from them several times and been happy with the near mint grade of balls. My only gripe is when you order larger quantities there tend to be several really nicked up and cut balls.

I ordered 60 refinished ProV1 balls 20% off to get free shipping. About $100 total.
They are adamant that they’re 100% guaranteed and refundable if they are not satisfactory so hoping they are fine quality.

I recommend them as well. Never had an issue with them and their condition ratings are accurate. 4A is almost brand new but with other logos/ink on the ball. Never tried the 3A so can’t speak to those.
I love the AVX but ain’t spending $60 a dz.

Been using them for years for most of my midweek or solo rounds where I am not in any games or anything. No issues whatever.

I order the large 96 Ball Bucket of Mint condition. I went through all 96 balls and found 9 Balls that were not “Mint” had scuff marks etc.. emailed Lostgolfballs and told them about the 9 balls. Received and email response apologizing for the mix up and was told to keep them and they sent me a replacement dozen balls. Can’t beat that.

That ball could be a Noodle with a paint job. Also could’ve been sitting at the bottom of a pond for a year.

I have ordered from them several times and have no complaints. I did end up switching to Vice Pros and then to Maxfli tours though. The Maxflis are great.

I’m a customer.
Pristine rating are virtually brand new.
5A’s, like 5% I’m like eh I don’t know.
Haven’t ordered anything rated lower than 5A.

So has LostGolfBalls (who seems to be very reputable per reviews generally) been caught refinishing balls as a totally different style? I feel like that would be a huge legal issue potentially.
As for sitting in water, I weighed about half of them and they all came out at exactly 46 grams. So I am suspecting they are not waterlogged.

This is solid advice too.
I’ll go to like a state park course that gets heavy traffic, get the first tee time on a Sunday morning and jump out 3 or 4 holes, then just start hunting balls while keeping the pace of a foursome.

I wouldn't play used golf balls and I wouldn't recommend them. You can go to Dicks and buy tour quality Maxfli Tour balls 4 dozen for $109. There are pro PGA and LPGA Tour players using them so they are legit and MyGolfSpy tests all of the balls every year and for the money, they are the best ball on the market.

"Pristine" condition are straight up new....Same numbers on the balls and all

Still have a hard time trusting that. You're probably better off with Vice or Maxfli for getting your moneys worth. They have multiple different balls for different players.
