I recently purchased a Mack Daddy PM Grind 2.0 in Tour Grey. I know that both the Vokeys and Mack Daddy 4s in black can have the finish removed but does anyone know if this can be done with the tour grey finish. If so, how?

There was recently an article on golfwrx about it. This guy pulled the head, soaked in vinegar for 2 days, hit it with steel wool.

Callaway preowned had a sale too. I got an almost new PM wedge for $60 last week.

Steel wool it and wrap it in a wet towel for a few days.

Just curious why you would do this? Is it purely for aesthetic purposes?

The rust adds about 5% spin to the ball. So if you are a guy that is looking for more spin on their wedges then this could help you out.

The whole rust adds spin to a ball has been proven to be a wives tale. It actually doesn’t really have any affect at all.

People used to say it added spin, but this has been dis-proved. It is more about looks than anything. Personally, I love the look of a raw wedge. Also think they may feel a little softer.
