It's a fairly new track in Rising Fawn, GA. I'm headed up there this weekend. Anybody know much about it? Looks very nice.
TIA

I got a shite ton of targeted adds about it. I’m interested. Please post a review once you go

Played it in August. Beautiful track. No amount of pictures can prepare you for how breathtaking that 18th hole is.

I played it during a guys golf trip to Chattanooga a few years ago. It was incredible and I was spraying my driver all over the place that day so I didn’t play great out there. I think one of my tee shots went dead left off the side of a massive cliff. Greens were great. Highly recommend

It’s awesome. If you can somehow get on Sweetens for a day on the same trip, it’s one of the best 2 days you’ll ever play.
Pro shop and bar are on top of the mountain. Incredible views and area. Super fun short course as well for wedge gambling, also on top of the mountain.

12 of us went last yr and played Sweetens early and then went to McLemore that afternoon. McLemore is so good. Greens were rolling 12-13 on the stimp.

Just got back from playing a couple rounds up there.
My thoughts:
The course is really fun and well setup. The views are incredible. It's unlike any other golf course I've played. The clubhouse and staff are really nice. It makes for an awesome golf getaway.
The greens are really fast and incredibly undulating. We didn't see a straight putt in two rounds. The rest of the course wasn't in top condition bc I think they've had a lot of rain. Definitely some muddy spots in several fairways. But none of the issues were from lack of care. The maintenance crew was out working and there is definitely a lot of money being pumped into that place.
In particular there are two holes (6 & 18) that are unique. 6 is a par five that literally drops off a cliff. Your second shot drops like 250 feet into a valley. Then 18 is a par 4 on the edge of the mountain. Everything to the left of the fairway needs a parachute. They call it "Golf above the clouds" and it feels like that level in Mario Bros. Unbelievable experience; it was like a weird dream.
There are many houses you can rent on the property and I'd recommend that. They are building a hotel and are expecting to open a second 18 around this time next year. I highly recommend staying in one of the nearby homes.
But my favorite thing about the place is the short game course they have setup outside the clubhouse. It's 6 holes with the longest being about 75 yards. The greens are perfectly kept and each one has a bunch of undulation. It's free to play and you only need a wedge and a putter. It was fantastic. I wish I could go to that little short course 5 days a week.
