Diamondhead is in excellent shape, but not sure if they recently punched. if greens were punched 10 days prior you will be just fine rolling balls on the greens.

Windance is my favorite course out of these but haven't played there in a month or so

Second on Windance, although I haven't seen it's recent conditions. It's usually a summer event in our league, but got moved to September this year.

That said, I've never had any bad experiences playing out there. It's always been in great shape

My recommendation is Windance and then Diamondhead of those listed. If you cannot get on those two then play Grand Bear twice. That is a solid group of courses. MS is underrated in their golf courses.

We had a golf trip back in April. We didn't play Winddance, but I remember my dad saying that if we did, we should get a players card at Island View Casino. I think you can play Winddance for $40 or something if you do.

We played Grand Bear, Preserve, then Oaks. I would think the greens at Preserve would be fine by next weekend. That was my favorite of the three.

If you play Oaks, have one person buy the deal card. You get 10 benefits for I believe a little over $100. Some of the benefits are a free round, foursome for $100, free hat or towel, 10 small range buckets, and a few others.

Over the July 4th weekend, I stayed at a friend’s house that is on The Oaks course. Just limited to the green he lives on, it was in fantastic shape and the fairway was plush. We played Windance just for a change of pace and between the two, The Oaks looked better. (Per my friend, we caught Windance with slow greens on the back-end of healing from aerification). He said they are normally much quicker and much more difficult.)

Windance is a better overall golf experience if you are going to dine and hang out in the grill after your round.

Yes and only one person in the group needs it for everyone to get the discount

28 holes is an interesting number lol. I played grand bear yesterday and shell landing today and grand bear is in much better shape than shell.

I think Grand Bear is punching this weekend. We’re playing The Preserve tomorrow because Grand Bear was going to be unavailable. I wonder if they rescheduled considering you played it yesterday. Nobody starts punching over the weekend

I called preserve and he told me they punch a few weeks back and greens are not back yet.

Let me know how they are if you playing today

Just thought I would update this one...

Played Grand Bear today. Course was off the path and in pretty damn good shape for the amount of rain we have had recently. Fairways could use a cut, but all in all, plush.

Greens were Dryjected recently, but they are rolling great. A little sandy, but not really noticeable. Rolled very smooth.

For $60, we'll worth the drive from NOLA.

We were slated to play The Oaks, but heard it was soaked and we decided to play elsewhere.

Windance, Diamondhead and The Oaks are all great courses.

The Bridges is not in great shape right now. The greens need a lot of work. It used to be one of my favorites.

Shell Landing is another awesome course to play. Lots of fun, but they don't have anyone that works outside, no one on the carts and no beverage carts.

We are playing Diamondhead Tomorrow at the Cardinal Course. I prefer the Pines, but it was full
