Always a cool topic…. See what people have had the fortune of playing…

My top 3

Butler National - just outside Chicago… top 50 course in the country. Absolute treat to play and an amazing, difficult test.

Whisper Rock - north Scottsdale…. Extremely private and home to over 70 tour pros

Dye Preserve - just outside of west palm florida. Maybe the best Pete dye design there is

Honorable mention- Manale Golf Club… probably the prettiest course I have played

Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Not sure how exclusive it is currently. Played it while in college many years ago. It was amazing, especially for an 18-yo coming from north Louisiana.

Peachtree in Atlanta. Not sure how exclusive it actually is but damn it was amazing. Closest to playing Augusta I’ll ever get.

Have also played the Yellowstone Club and Moonlight Basin in Big Sky.

Probably Alotian or Austin CC.

Alotian-a friend from college is the CFO of a major construction company that has a membership.

Austin CC-I was dating a girl who’s sister was the event coordinator.

Don't really play many exclusive courses, but I have played East Lake in Atlanta and Palmetto in Aiken, SC. Palmetto is as close as I'll get to playing Augusta.

San Francisco GC for me. I played Olympic the day before and my caddie said, “the members at Olympic work for the members at SFGC.” Sure enough, the next day we walk up to the tee at SFGC and Charles Schwab is in the group in front of us.

Either Lochinvar in Houston or Golf Club of Tennessee outside of Nashville. Royal Oaks in Houston is probably up there too.

The Troubadour about 45 minutes south of Nashville. As far as amenities, I've never seen anything like it, and knowing the goat ranch it was before it was developed into a community for multi-millionaires, it was even more amazing. Home prices there are 4 million, minimum. You can't join the club unless you own a home there, and then you have about a $300k initiation fee and another $50k in yearly dues. Just insane. Lot of celebs musicians, and pro golfers have places there.

Would have been great if I hadn't played like total dogshit when I got to play there

Played Bluejack National the day before their member/guest. Wide fairways so you don’t get killed off the box, but man the greens were unspeakably fast and undulating. Had an amazing time and #12 is as close as you can get to playing 12 at Augusta.

Wouldn't say the most exclusive but probably the coolest was Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Hawaii (Marine base). Got to see whales jumping in the ocean while on the tee box.

Next to that would probably be The Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas NV. Played the Concord and the Lexington. They were alot of fun.
