So I’m headed to Palm Springs in two weeks for a golf trip. Need to hear opinions from those of you who have done this trip…. Does the ball really travel further out there? I’ve heard everything from “No” to “5 yds on average” to “expect 15 yds more off the tee”.

Trying to figure out which clubs I am bringing. Thanks

PS is 500 ft above sea level. General rule is 2% for every 1,000 feet - so you're looking at a 1% difference.

PS isn’t at enough elevation to make a difference

I think he’d be referring to the heat, obviously Palm Springs has no elevation.

Don’t think it’d be hot enough this time of year to make a difference.

I played out there like 7 years ago when it was 113 outside and holy frick. I don’t think I’ve played there since

There won’t be much.

And also played PGA West last September. It was fricking brutal.

Should be perfect now.
