Playing at both next month.

Any insight on either?

I’m I gonna get my arse handed to me? 11 handicap for reference w/playing Pelican and Greystone a lot.

Will I take more pics than strokes?

Any advise is welcomed.

Paynes Valley is wide open and lots of fun.
Ozark National is tough.
Both are very nice. You will enjoy them both.

That’s a matter of personal opinion.

Very well maintained.
PV has zoysia fairways which are like hitting off of plush carpet.
Don’t think Ozark was zoysia, but still very nice.
Buffalo ridge was being renovated when we went, but I’ve hard it is fantastic as well.
Worth the price? That’s up to you. I’m not sure what the individual fees were, as we played as a stay and play package that someone else put together. I know they aren’t cheap, but nothing is these days.
I certainly felt like I got my money’s worth.

if it is well maintained, then i can justify whatever the cost is. I would just be mad if I got there and pay $450 green fees and the tee boxes are shite.

Awesome Thanks..

When my wife suggested that this summer instead of Florida she wanted to go to Missouri I was like "Why??" then she showed me the golf courses near where she was wanting to stay and of course i was like "Why, didn't you lead with that" ..

It will probably be the nicest golf courses you've ever played on. That's the way it was for me, and I went in April.

Wish I could get onto Ozark Nat.'s range and other practice areas anytime I wanted. It has everything you need to get better.

If you have time, highly suggest playing Top of the Rock too. It’s a Nicklaus designed par 3 that sits on the top on a mountain overlooking lake of the Ozarks. Really fun.

Payne’s Valley is wide open. You’ll have to really try to lose a ball there outside of the water.

Ozark is pretty straight forward too. Great place

Also take in the daily Sunset Ceremony while you enjoy a drink at Top of the Rock's restaurant afterwards. Excellent view and ceremony.
