We are giving golf towels to every participant, but want something good for the big sponsors who put up high dollars. In the past, we gave yeti ice chests. What should we do this year?

I was in a tournament that had a shoe rep there and sized the players for a pair of golf shoes...
tournament name was on the shoes when I got them...

Titleist has a set up or a “store”.
You order online through the tournament code.
Some people order Footjoy shoes, shirts, wedges, bags, etc depending on the amount you make it.
It makes it easy and people get what they want.

We do custom soft sided coolers, pullovers, speakers, rangefinders, and in the past we have given a ball stamp with the charity logo on it. Also have done some Travis Mathew’s travel bags with a shoe compartment with logo embroidered.

What kind of budget do you have? Lots of good ideas here but they may be out of budget. Items that i've received from being a big sponsor:
Ghost Towel with logo
Soft-sided RTIC cooler with logo
RTIC portable folding chair
A good speaker
Customizable shoes from Footjoy
One of the coolest gifts I received was a hand forged ball marker. Check out Seamus Golf. They had a company at the outing we were at and we got to customize a hand forged ball marker. One side has the company logo and the other side had whatever we wanted.

Lots of vendors have great tournament offerings. What course is hosting the event? You can work with their head pro to secure some great items from a multitude of vendors.

Find a club fitting/demo day near you and talk to the reps, or call golf club companies. They get stuff to give away for charity events and such.

Nike used to do the same thing back when I was doing tournaments. They would set up "Niketown" tents and trailers. Each player got a coupon worth X amount of dollars in their goodie bag. They could redeem for an item the same price as the coupon or pay the difference on something more expensive. Hole sponsor teams got a new pair of shoes each.

The teams that are in contention to win don't need a range finder, new bags and wedges, they already have those things. Like others have said, gift cards to nice golf attire/ shoe websites would be good,( Peter Millar, Vineyard Vines, Rhoback, Foot Joy, G Fore) ProV1's, Gift card to golf shop so they can pick out their own club/wedge/putter. Weekend golf getaway to nice resort.
Played in a member guest tournament and one of the prizes was a very nice $200.00 Peter Millar belt. Something like that is unique and not just the run of the mill prize.
