I have accidentally cracked my driver shaft, and had surgery yesterday so can not make a full swing for two weeks. I wanted to get a shaft before I can fully swing.

My present shaft is a Diamana Srt 60 R. It is on a PXG Black Ops. Any recommendations on a different shaft to try?

Is the Newton as good as they claim? I have a SF Jupiter in my 5 wood and it's pretty solid.

So you just had surgery, can’t swing a club for two weeks, and you want to purchase and install a new, different driver shaft before you can actually test different options out?

What kind of dumbass thread is this lol

This sounds like a bad strategy

I would wait until you can swing and get fitted for a new shaft. It'd be much better to be fitted for one than to just randomly buy one.

sounds like you are just itching to buy new gear. maybe get a new putter, you can swing that.

He obviously anticipates coming back quickly to full strength and has a repeatable swing. Therefore, he's looking for replacements for his currently broken shaft. If he leaves out the part about him being injured, could you recommend him a shaft?

I get a lot of targeted adds about this shaft. how do you like it?

Exactly, nothing major just can't make a full swing for 10 days. Was looking for something comparable or maybe a better shaft?

Thanks

No.

How the hell could anyone recommend any shaft to him based on the information he’s given us in his posts?

What's your budget?

Plenty of options out there.. I like the Mitsubishi Shafts.. I had Tensei Blues in all my Woods.. they're definitely a firmer profile than what you're using.. If you hit that one good might want just find another one.. grips 4 less dot com is where I've bought several shafts in the past..

Exactly. Asking for a shaft rec with no information is kind of like asking what kind of car should I buy.

Or you just could not reply by being an arse. It really isn't that hard, or maybe it is for you.

have a great day Mr KilJoy.

It’s pretty good for me. I’m older and have a slower swing speed but I hit my 5w more consistently than I did with the stock Ping shaft, longer and slight draw.

Was coming here to say the same thing. Also, Fujikura recently came out with the White Velocore+ version that I want to hit. My drive swing speed is lower 90s … typically I’m 93-96mph. I’m curious to see the different ball flights comparing the White vs Red and maybe even the Blue.

I don't see a Diamana srt 6r shaft in the lineup to try and make a comparison. Are you sure you typed it correctly?
