Snell Balls - Ball Review after 1st round

I was able to play this morning after all. We had a slight breeze all day and I played on my home course which is important because I know where I normally hit it off the tee on every hole.
For review sake , I play an all Ping G410 bag, I am a 8.5 hcp and I normally play a Bridgestone BXS Yellow ball, but I played the PROV1 in Yellow most all last year..
MTB-X Review-
If there is a difference between this ball and a ProV1, then only thing that I can tell is that the MTB-X has a slight more click to it. It might feel a little different on forged irons, but not on my Pings to any big extent.
Just as long as the ProV1 for me, and it spins the same for me. It checks up really well with my Glide wedges and the cover held up just as good.
The MTB-X did everything that I would expect from a 50 dollar a dozen ball. Definitely longer that the Cally Chrome Soft's and the TM TP's for me and the breeze today did not affect this ball like it does my Bridgestone BXS.
MTB- Black Review -
Definitely shorter hitting for me and I really didnt care for it. Really felt like the Cally Chrome Soft to me. Not the ball for me, really all that I can say.
Bottom Line on the MTB-X -
If I had to really nail down this ball, I would say that it would fit between the Bridgestone Tour B and the Bridgestone Tour BXS in distance and spin.
FWIW, my opinion is this ball performs just as well as the 2019 ProV1 for my swing. I am a tall guy with a big swing arc and I tend to hit everything high.
In Closing, being able to get this ball for under 30 bucks when ordering 5 boxes and in Yellow which I prefer, this is my new ball going forward.
I am surprised.

Side note :
I also purchase a couple of Snell gloves and really like them .
If you like a tad bit thicker glove, you will love these.
They have a Fathers Day sale that is you buy some balls, you can get the gloves for 12.50, very good deal.

I’ve been on the Snell wagon for a couple years. I’ll buy five dozen when I’m running low. Can’t beat a dozen ball for $28/ea.

You can't beat getting a quality ball for that price for sure.
Throw in the fact that you will get the delivery 2 days after ordering free.

Yes you can. Srixon annual father's day BOGO deal. Stock up on Z Stars for $20/dozen.

I meant every day value.
But the Srixon deal is nice, though the only ball that I tried that they make was the XV and didn't like it.

I switched from Titleist last year to the Snell MTB X. Love the ball and definitely best bang for the buck
