What's the go to wedge for y'all
For those of you that have played vokey for some time, do you anticipate that the sm10 will be a big improvement over the sm9? I know there's not much technology in a wedge but just curious as I'm in the market also had my eye on the Mizuno t24s

Vokey all day and it's not even close.

Wait until the SM10s come out then get some new SM9s for cheap. OK, they won't be cheap, but cheaper than the SM10s.

SM9 prices have already been reduced as low as they’re gonna go

Haven’t tried these but gamed a few other iterations of Mizzy wedges. Could not get along with em.
I personally game Scor wedges and love em. Played vokeys and don’t get the love. They are good wedges, but there are others out there as well

I just picked up two MG4 wedges and love em so far. Still in break in mode. Ordered a 56 & 60 from TM website to replace Vokey SM7s. This is the first time I’ve played non Titleist wedges. Was looking for a change. And these are great.
Plus on TM website. You can customize bounce. Shaft and grip fairly easily and no more expensive than it costs in the store.

Do you think there will be much of a difference between the 2?

I can’t play a wedge that’s not forged.
Vokeys are not forged.
Mizuno wedges for me.

They are very good, honestly all the OEMs seem to be making pretty good wedges these days.

Vokey all day since I was in high school. Not much changes in wedge tech- especially w a player’s wedge. They’ll move the sweet spot some but that’s about it. I always change out my 56 every year but keep the 48/52 for 2 years.
Have heard good things about the TM wedges.

Honestly, no. They'll claim something about the COG has been optimized, blah blah blah. Other than some minor tweaks, it will be pretty much the same wedge.
And as others have said, all the manufacturers make great wedges. While I'm using Vokeys now, I came from Callaway JAWS, which were great as well.
To me, no matter what brand you go with, optimizing the bounce and grind to match your swing and the conditions you play in most often is the important piece. Vokeys offer quite a bit of that, which is why I went that direction when it was time for new wedges. The Vokey M grind in my 56° was very similar to the Callaway C grind, so that transition was easy for me. Adding a low bounce lob wedge (T grind) has been huge and really paid dividends when playing last summer and fall due to the dried out conditions.

TM M4, 54* & 58* wedges in my bag.
So easy to pick off a tight lie.

I've been using vokey's for a long time and highly recommend.. I've tried the Cleveland RTX as well and they were solid wedges but i just preferred the feel of the vokey

I'm the opposite. Went from Vokeys to Cleveland RTX and prefer the Clevelands.
It's all personal preference and feel.

I’ve played Vokeys, Callway Mac daddy tour grind, and currently TMs are in the bag.
I will go back to the Vokeys on my next set. They are the best and it’s not really close imo

I got two of the TM HiToe Raw . Incredible bite , I had to learn to chip all over again.

I recently tested out some 54° SM9s and TM MG4s and preferred the feel from the MG4s. Felt more consistent. Went ahead and ordered one with custom shaft and grip with no additional cost.
