Toured the PXG Store in Houston

I was given a tour of the new store today.
It officially opens on Monday.
The store features 2 trackman outfitted hitting studios with all of the best shafts.
There is a a putter fitting lab with all of the weights, lighting etc...
The new driver is really beautiful with extreme weighting ports for custom tuning. Pictures do not do it justice.
The new Hybrids look really good, again with a lot of shafts options not listed on their website.
Their custom order goal is 7 business days on any new clubs ordered.
Plenty of apparel, gloves, towels, etc...
I was surprised on how good the putters looked.

Lots of good feedback about that putter on GolfWrx.
Checked on the Cameron that I ordered and nothing.
May cancel the order and try the Bat Attack.

Yea I’m not sure where things went sideways with them, maybe it was the TV adds that sounded like Duluth Trading company. People’s perception of them has changed drastically since they first entered the market.

Slashing prices on clubs that others paid thousands for will do that.
I do like the look of the gen5’s though… not enough to ditch my Srixons though.

I really think this had a lot to do with it.
First time I saw one I wondered why the hell was Guy Fieri voicing golf club ads.
Took me about six months before I found out it was the guy who owned the company.

Every other manufacturer does the same.
The owner Parsons does a lot for wounded Vets along with offering deep discounts to a first responders.
Too many of you get thrown off by pricing and commercials. You know the Callaway commercials yell Boom.
Taylormade and Titleist is owned by the Koreans.
Not many iron sets under a grand now. New Pings are 1800.00
As far as moderately priced clubs, I will put the 0211 irons with MMT Shafts for $640.00 against anything.
