Trying to decide which of the 2 courses to play at Craft Farms in Alabama. Which do you prefer and why?

I'm probably no help here, but which ever one I played last year (I am pretty sure Cotton Creek) was in great shape. Greens were lightning fast

I played them in either one day or back to back days and I struggle to separate the two courses in my mind. I'll defer to someone who has played them more, but I don't recall walking off either round declaring one course definitively better than the others.

You sold on Craft Farms? There are a lot of other courses around that I like better than those two. Not saying it is a bad choice, just better choices available.

They are both very similar - I would play the one in the best shape that day.

I don't remember which one was named what but the one I played was the "tougher" of the two and I enjoyed it. Definitely not a difficult course but driving through the other 18 it seemed to be more geared towards your average vacation golfer. Just looked to be very open and not a challenge at all. If you call for a tee time just ask him which one is more of a challenge.

Don't be shy of the Country Club. I've played it a few times and have always enjoyed it.

I played it on the same trip I played both Craft Farms and liked it better than both of them.

But you are already playing two of my favorites in Rock Creek and Kiva.

They say Cypress drains better. Four holes on Cypress were CPO on Friday. I think there was a good bit of rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Fairways and greens were in very good condition. There were a lot of folks playing that day and no problem with pace.

I second this opinion. If it is raining, this place drains super quick!

Gotcha, I hear it’s a great course, especially for the price.

Heading down this weekend to check out the new house and I’m playing 9 at Glenlakes. I’ve heard it’s nothing special, but it’s a 13 minute drive from the house. Might as well check it out.

I love Glen Lakes. It has some interesting holes and a decent bang for the buck. It is where I would go if I was with a group of people who don't golf very often.

But yes, the country club is the golf club. idk why I always say cc?

I’m just playing the 9 hole Lake course Sunday morning. Excited to see how it is. If it’s good, I plan on playing it a lot

I prefer Cotton Creek. Tend to play better there, so I like it better haha.

I played Cypress(?) last summer. I had a good time. Nice layout, nothing special. The apples in the barrels of ice water are incredible. Hit a hybrid out of a fairway bunker from 210 on 2 to about 5 feet and made the putt for birdie.
