As embarrassing as it is, I need help for an itchy bum

Hoping maybe someone here has a remedy or any idea what was causing theirs if anyone else out there had this problem.
About a month and a half ago, I noticed my butt really started to itch badly at night. I thought maybe I just didn't wipe it well enough or whatever because we've all been there, but this type of itch was excruciating. Some days it would go away, then come back with a full vengeance. I did some research and suspected the possibility of pinworms due to the duration of symptoms, so I tried the treatment. No relief a few weeks later.
Paid my dermatologist a visit, and she suspected a possible yeast infection. No relief from the oral and topical antifungal.
I am about to lose my shite with this. I don't want to keep seeing doctors, but I'm at the point of insanity. I have heard it's bad to clean the area too vigorously with toilet paper, but not cleaning the area well also isn't a good solution. I probably need to avoid scratching at all costs, but the urge is practically irresistible at times, and the temporary relief I feel when I scratch is almost like a high.
If anyone I know is reading this, I will deny it

Pecker just did a 3 part series on this on the OT. I would suggest starting there.

No. Is this actually a good idea? I would trim before shaving

Gotta keep the area dry, try some gold bond spray twice a day

What kind of under wear do you wear?
Where exactly does it itch?

I would have guessed the doctor would have caught that but that's what I thought too.

Doctor doesn’t think hemorrhoid. Normally those hurt as well as itch but I just suffer from unbearable itching.
I normally wear loose fitting breathable boxers.
Tempted to trim the area soon. Some say it really helped their issue.
I’ve been taking a lukewarm bath every evening as well. Can’t say it’s helping.

Could be some crusty dingleberries. If your arse crack is really hairy, have your boyfriend shave it. After you shave it, keep it lubed up with prep H or whatever you ****s use as lube.

Yes, OP has pinworms. I can almost guarantee it.
Put some tape on your bunghole at night, then you'll see the worms, they come out at night.
The OTC meds can help, but the natural stuff is better due to frequency. Cut sugar way back, take diamataceos earth, and really focus on hygiene. Lots of bedding washing too.
Other than the itching, they are pretty harmless.
My son had them when he was little, dirt playing little bastard. We kicked them in about 2wks.

Get out of the boxers and into some sweat resistant boxer briefs. Under armour makes some good ones

If the doctor told you yeast, I would assume miconazole cream would help. Maybe fissures? You could have small tears from straining. Have you tried a steroid cream?
