ETA: Think this was the wrong board.

just bought one of these bad boys. Watched a YT video of some guy that bought the most expensive water filters across the country. Found that Berkey was not only the best, but one of the least expensive. Perfect for swamp water baws. They use these in the most 3rd world countries.

This thing can create perfect water from tap water, rivers, lakes, etc. the website lists all the lab studies and they are quite impressive. It’s about 400 bucks, but considering the money people spend on bottled water, you save in the long run, especially since bottled water can’t be trusted.

Here is some info:

They have the evidence from labs:

As a single, this will last 10-15 years. Check it out. Conspiracy theorists that think Covid (or snake venom in in the water), you now have protection!

It’s 11% off this weekend. Don’t have to replace filters for many many years. As a single. It will last a decade

We have to replace ours about every 6 months. My biggest complaint is if you overfill the tank, which is easy since it has no fill line, the damn thing leaks all over the counter top. So I am hesitant to fill it since my wife usually does, the holding tank goes empty quite often. It does produce good tasting water

Naw, I’ve always had concerns about water in general. Nothing major. Someone showed me documents a few years ago and it was clear to every engineer and analyst they were doing whatever they could to keep the “problems” just below the line.

I actually think it’s a good investment. Read through the site and the lab results. 6000 gallons will last me for a very very long time.

I’ve recently gotten blood tests over the last 4 years and I think anything can help. Let’s be honest, everything we put in our body is trash. That’s why there is so much inflammation, which leads to more serious disease. I’ve certainly blown money on worst. It’s great for people that spend time outside and camp.

I will screen shot the lab results.

Some lab results. Seems like the second one is important for your every day minion. Either way. With everyone prepping on their mind, seems like this would come in handy since it can clean essentially shite water. Take a look at the site. I was impressed, and I’m not impressed easily. They list the hundreds of crap it filters

I’ve come to the realization that our food, medication, and water are slowly killing us, causing inflammation, which leads to much serious disease like cancer. The trend since the 60’s hasn’t been good. We need to get back to the basics. JMO

How do you like it. Seems like a great thing for a cabin or camping. I’m going to use it in my house

Like I said, you get great tasting water. But I usually use the fridge filtered water which is almost as good.
