Any of you in the Metarie or Lafayette area workout at Club 4?
They are about to open one in Houma and I'm ready to get back into a gym and was curious to anyone's personal experience there. The inside looks awesome.

I workout at the one in Lake Charles. Its fine. Its no Red Lerille's, but its fine. Has plenty of equipment and space. Hard to beat for $14/month.

I live in the Jackson Metro Area where it’s originally from. I’ve been with them since they opened. To me, it’s the best gym bar none. I’ve heard complaints about the ones in Louisiana tho. But the ones here are great. Powerlifting area and pretty much any piece of equipment you need. For one location it’s $10 per month. If you want all locations it’s $25. Can’t beat it tbh

Yea I went ahead and joined. Its been brutal in my garage lately. Plus I'm anxious to get back using some machines for back and legs.

I've never been, but I just looked at the virtual tour of the Kenner location, and it looks pretty good. Like what Elmwood used to be before every person in Metairie started going there at the same time I used to.

I have one right across from my office. They have a weighted sled. Probably ditching my $60/month gym and going to that one. Thanks for the heads up.

I have been with the one in Kenner since it opened. Really nice place and lots of equipment.
Only thing for me to get used to was even if I wait until like 9 or 10 pm on a Friday night it is still packed with meatheads.

The one in Lake Charles doesn't have too many meatheads (besides myself and a few others) but it is sure full of people I cannot stand, like the guy who walks around with his shoulders up and back like hes swole (it doesn't make your shoulders look big, it just makes you look stupid), or the guys wearing wife beaters or shirts with the entire sides cut out, even though they are built like 12 year old girls (just wear a regular goddamned tshirt), or the guy who leaves his duffle bag fulla God only knows what, at the bench hes "using", then goes talk to someone for 40 mins without doing a single set at said bench (leave your bag of shite off to the side, out of the way of everyone and away from the bench so that no one thinks the bench is being used).

I work out at the BR location. Super clean and all new. A second location already being built. So far, so good. Beats the hell out of that ghetto Esporta on Seigen Lane.

I was about to join Powerhouse but this place is cheaper with all new equipment and looks to have adequate amounts of equipment. I think June 24th is the opening. I'll be in the 5-5:30am crowd.

I am thinking of signing up there but the parking lot seems packed almost every time I pass. Wonder how bad the wait would be for one of the power racks at like 4 or 5 AM?
Its kinda funny they have so much cardio equipment, etc, and all I care about is the free weights :)

I was a member at one in mobile for a while.
Nice gym but it was really overcrowded at times.
If I got there after 4pm it was full of high school kids that mess around looking at their phones the whole time .

I did the one in Shreveport and for the money it was absolutely fantastic. Big, clean, and affordable. $15 a month for 24 hour access. Only downside was afternoons get crazy crowded but I go in the morning anyway. 5am was plenty vacant. Great value for a gym.

I have noticed there is a new Club 4 Fitness sign in Baton Rouge on Florida Blvd right in front of where Planet Fitness used to be. I am assuming they are planning to open there at some point but I can't find any info.

Jose they have 3 squat racks/deadlift stations and 4 flat bench stations. Plus tons of awesome machines.
