Cycling baws - what's your rig(s)?

I admit to slacking since I stopped trying to beat all the local 20-somethings at the weekend ominiums.
Having gotten back into it more as a 'club rider' i'm curious about all the buzz around the new electronic shite.
I am still rocking old school LOOK carbon with 12sp mechanical ultegra and rim brakes.
Running tubulars with custom wheels built by a guy here in town.
Anyone make the jump to electronic shifting and want to comment on how hard it was to 're-train' your brain to shifting large & small rings using one paddle?
No more podium finishes for me on the TT circuit either. The 'little pirate' below did more than its share of work for me even though it doesn't look mean like the $13,000 TT bikes the triguys are buying. Also running a custom tubular front wheel built by a local pro, spoke 'bent' to serve as a bracket for my garmin (local trick all the cool kids were doing here) and my 5yo daughter 'custom regular show' wheel cover over my powertap rear wheel.

I still have mechanical shifters on my bike but I rented a di2 rig when i went on a trip and a few minutes in i had the shifting down. It's not necessary but it's nice

touring/gravel bike - Rivendell Atlantis with bar end shifters
road bike - Waterford 1200 with circa 1995 campy group
TT - elite cycles with HED wheels
Track bike - Zinn custom
I also now currently building up a steel frame I found on ebay into a single speed cyclocross rig for this fall
I race track and TT and soon sscx so no need for electronic shifting

Trek Emonda and Checkpoint for road and gravel and a Focus TT bike.
The checkpoint and focus are Di2
I don’t have any issues going between the Di2 and mechanical. That being said, annual groupset refresh for the road bike happens at the end of the summer and I will switch it to Di2

I rode this '96 GT Zr1000 until 2 years ago when the frame cracked.
Found this 6 year old GT Elite carbon fiber frame still new in box so built it up with Ultegra. I don't race or ride seriously anymore so didn't want to spend much. Frame was 350 and spent about 1200 on components. Used my old Ksyriun wheels which are bullet proof.
I ride my old Zaskar to swim workouts 3 times a week and to bar hop.
And an old GT Rage for smart trainer riding
I do like GT Bikes.

That's awesome that you're a GT fan! It's their 50th anniversary this year. They're such a tight-knit group of folks for being a "big" brand. My son is on their Coalition squad for MTB. We're out at nats this year and will get to hang with a lot of their pros and Coach.
My kid's got a GT Force Carbon Pro and a GT Performer BMX.

thats like me & LOOK. that mondrian in my first pic was one of only 500 they made. i somehow became entangled with a bike mechanic for a french cycling team based out of puerto rico.
he agreed to sell the 'spare/backup' bike to me and all our negotiations were over the phone so until the bike showed up i was convinced i was being scammed.
i'm not sure about you but the geometry of the LOOK just 'fit' me perfectly and when you find a road bike that fits that well its hard to switch to another brand.
my day-to-day is a blue/black kg281 (laurent jalabert won tdf KOTM in 2001 on a stock KG281) that is still a beast and will forever be the bike of my dreams.

i owned a GT mountain bike (the crazy arse special w/ the splattered paint job) in the early 1990s until it was stolen BY SOME GODLESS HEATHEN.
i'm a fricking weirdo so i have a GT catalog from back in the late 80s/early 90s. i'll dig it up and mail it to you if you're interested.
eta that reply was meant for zappas stash. sorry hogfly

I lived in Orange county, Cali in the early 90s and raced for a shop that was a big GT dealer so I got those frames for next to nothing.

I've seen you post about his racing, that's awesome.

That might be cool to have in my GT museum! I've also got an old GT Team Avalanche that I cracked the seat tube on. I keep meaning to take my stick wleder to it and turn it into another bar hopper. I also have a GT TT bike and several old GT Jerseys, Tshirts, Long Sleeves and a GT mechanics shirt from back in the day.

Well I've been debating upgrading from the starter bike (Specialized Allez Sport) I bought when I first got into cycling 2 years ago. This thread may just push me over the edge.

I've been able to shake that monkey. I just don't look at any bike blogs or look at other people's bikes I ride with. And I like my wires!

I have a gravel Spot Ralleye that I changed out the drop bars to flat bars and went belt drive on for commuting and grocery getting.
I have a Why El Jefe set up single speed that I say I am going to set up as a bike packing rig.
And my big rig daily driver is a Guerilla Gravity Smash.

I think you’re referring to the GT Karakoram. I had one from either ‘90 or ‘91. I was in college so couldn’t afford a Zaskar but wanted one so bad.

The first bike I ever bought with my money was a gt outpost back in the late 90’s.
couldn’t find a better pic online, but it was this exact model & paint.
