I haven’t tried it, but I know a few guys who love it. Say it’s not quite as crazy as CrossFit, but more strength and intense than OrangeTheory. Hope that helps.

It’s a maintenance program

No actual strength progression and programming

You just get better at doing hit style workouts with light weights

You would better off doing hybrid athlete type training

MWF training for strength and or hypertrophy. Three other days do cardio, two of them zone 2/3 and the other more intense conditioning

Pretty much Andrew Huberman’s foundational fitness protocol.

They claim to burn 750cal per 45 min session. Seems to me you could lean up pretty quickly doing these workouts 3-5 times a week with your diet in check.

Maybe if you’re a 700lb person. They are full of shite.

Low key kinda want to try it out. Been lifting heavy compound lifts since 15 for high school football and my body aches now at almost 30.

Probably should take a hard look at life style choices and diet first.

Mostly women in my area, thanks to the ac. Wife enjoyed it, but went too hard and injured her shoulder. Really toned her arse, though. I can’t get into it. I like to train outside too much.

I did a 2 week free trial last year. It’s a HIIT workout with light weights/body weight. I liked it a few days a week but I still wanted to lift and it was way too expensive to justify multiple memberships.

If you don’t want to lift anymore it’s a good change of pace but you will get very little traditional lifts in here. It’ll be essentially a cardio workout

I joined over a year ago and completely stopped going to the big box gyms. It's an addiction at this point. Once you find time to possibly do 2x days (F45 + regular gym) you'll be in beastmode.

Biggest con (dependent on studio is PRICE $$$ & the music playlists )

how much is it per month? I did Iron Tribe last year and liked it enough. But they changed their business model and created an even more expensive plan ($400/month).

To make room for the expensive classes, they cut 40% of their traditional classes. Im not paying $400/month and I was relying on the number of traditional classes to fit my schedule.

I didn't get as much out of F45 as I did from P90X. You get more bang for your buck from P90X in my opinion

you're 30 years old, that's very young. You probably need to make some lifestyle and diet changes if you can't handle lifting heavy weight at that age
