Favorite shoes for Jumping Rope

I started down the path of jumping rope about 6 weeks ago after years of inactivity. I was wondering if anyone found one style/type of shoe better than others. I've been using NB cruz lately which is medium soles on them.

I wrestled, still box, and do jits. I usuallly warm up with about 5 rounds of rope work to get loose.
Addidas Wrestling Shoes. They are like mid calf height and nice/flat on bottom.

The infrequent times I jump rope, usually barefoot.
