Does anyone ever experience headaches before working out? I’ve had to switch to working out at night after work due to scheduling conflicts. For some reason, I’ll get these headaches before I even step into the gym. I’ve never had this issue before. Is it psychological? Like, having to get my going after a break after work for a few hours? Almost feels like a tension headache.

I’m gonna fix this for you right now with a mental exercise:

Only ladies get headaches

Yes, but not even a full serving, and the headache starts before I take it.

I’ve thought of that, but I don’t want to take advil every time I lift.

Have you considered microdosing?

Muscle tension. Go get a deep tissue massage and take 2wks off the gym.

That sounds like a good idea.

Negative. That’s not necessary.

People often don’t hydrate enough in the morning. Drink at least 32oz of water, throw a pinch or 2 of salt in it for electrolytes. Easy thing to see if that helps

Uh do you get headaches on evenings when you don’t go to the gym too? If so, I’d wonder if your vision has changed and you are having issues transitioning from close up vision while working at a computer all day. If not and you only get headaches when you lift, then there is something about your diet on those days (more/less coffee? Less water for some reason?).

Or your brain is being a little bitch and trying to make you behave like a little bitch.

I figure it’s one of those 3 tho

I drink plenty of water. The headaches only come during training days. My diet stays pretty consistent every day. I try not to change it up too much. I also don’t spend too much time on the computer. I run a warehouse, so only partial use of a computer.

Like of what I’ve been thinking, but I try not to meathead my way into a worse problem.

Hmm. Didn’t think of that. Maybe I’m depleted by the end of the day.
