I used to workout in the morning but now it just seems like I always end up hurting myself. Takes too long to get warmed up. It's easier on my body to lift weights after work

I find the people that are there in the mornings are more serious and not playing on phones sitting on equipment etc
I Wish gyms would start revoking memberships for this. Either work out or play on phone. So tired if people taking up machines for 10-15 minutes fricking around on their phone

Same. Only time I touch my phone at the gym is in between sets briefly if I want to start a new playlist

I haven't been in a commercial gym in so long, I can almost forget what that was like. Almost .....
Mostly what bugged me was "curling in the squat rack" variety of stuff, but the socializers and the phone-fricker-withers were next on the list.
However, I could see the difference between the person using their phone a lot because they were obviously using some app on their phone as their training log or for some other pertinent reason versus the person who was just texting their friends or cruising intsa or playing games, someone wasting YOUR time. That was aggravating.
Same thing with tripods. I don't mind people recording themselves and setting up elaborate video recording systems when it's obvious they're doing it for serious reasons, such as form critiques with an online coach or maybe just for themselves at home later, etc. That's fine, but nobody likes having to accommodate the "Influencer".....give me a break.
Well, I've completed steps #1 and #2 of this morning lifting biznass, I went to bed at 8:45, got out of bed at 6:30, so now all I have to do is go lift. Hmmmm, 2 out of 3 aint bad.

Been at it for 30 years non stop. Tried the morning maybe twice. Just can't do it. Favorite time is lunch. But now it's between 5 and 9pm. It's a gamble to avoid the crowd. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose.

I’m only 2 days in but getting up at 4:30, coffee til 5, lift til 6 is working well. I had to give up my 9-10:30 pm alone time and just go to bed with everyone else but not having to stress about a workout is nice.

I wish I could lift late, maybe I should try. I'm a morning guy. 415 alarm, up by 430, out the house by 445-5. At the gym ar I und 515, workout until 615, sauna for 15-20 min, shower, get dressed with work clothes and walk from the gym to my desk. Gym is in the same building as my office. Work from 7-4.
Hate waking up that early but at 7am I feel fricking great
This would be me to an almost tee.
As you mentioned, the first 15 minutes sucks, but there’s nothing better than leaving the gym at 6:15 when it’s pitch dark and feeling like you’ve already kicked the day’s arse.
I used to be an evening person, but I can’t even imagine doing that anymore. I tried a 5 PM workout the other day when I was traveling in the morning and couldn’t get there, and I just couldn’t get the juice. It was the most bullshite workout I’ve had in a while, can’t imagine going back to evenings.

Is that correct?
I though like 10 mg of melatonin was a hefty dose
I typically take 24mg almost daily on a work day.

Who else is getting their work in closer to tomorrow than not? One more set, then getting my steps in.
Though im certain my body would hate it at first, itd be awesome to be like the only one one in the gym

Isn’t this the truth. I left this morning feeling like I could move a mountain or savagely KO Tyson Fury.
