Anyone tried both? Wondering which one is better and do they cost about the same? I may pass by both this week to get a tour and see if any specials or trial offers available. But figured some here may have some good insight too.

More lifting in F45.

F45 is a better, full body workout with weights and cardio. Orange theory is pure cardio

Are you in BR? I’m curious about Tribe Fitness as well.

I think they have started to implement some weights for some of their training

There’s definitely weight workouts in OT but it’s mostly dumbbell stuff. As far as choosing between the two, it’s highly subjective to what you want out of a workout plus the class culture. F45 has a lot more variety but I didn’t care for the class culture (instructors, camaraderie etc) in the local one I went to. I felt the opposite with the OT I went to, but ultimately I just got burned out of the repetition of treadmill running.

i belong to iron tribe. There are basically two different types of classes; "strength" which focuses on compound lifts (deadlifts, cleans, squats) mixed with some cardio and "push" which focuses more on cardio and bodyweight exercises.
Plan to pay out the arse for membership. I dont mind this as the gym is always immaculate and the high price weeds out a lot of people that arent serious about it.
They are also very friendly. The coaches know everyones name and go out of their way to give pointers and encouragement.

Love iron tribe when I did it. Results too. Both types of classes, power and push. Power is Olympic style lifts, push is HIIT lifts with non Olympic weights

Iron Tribe sounds like CrossFit. Cardio. Olympic and powerlifting. Expensive. How is it different?

It is CrossFit. They wanted to franchise Iron Tribe’s and CFHQ has some weird rules against it.
They dropped being an affiliate and did their own thing.

OTF varies by location but I think it’s $135 per month for unlimited classes in Birmingham.

200+ monthly for three workouts a week. Something like 270 for unlimited.
