What a pain in the arse. This chick has been bringing in a tripod every morning for over a year. She gets in everyone’s way, and she’s constantly talking while lifting. I feel like if you can talk coherently while lifting, you’re not lifting hard enough. Obviously, considering she’s prob 35 lbs overweight. Today, I started lunges, did my first set, turned around to lunge back and she’s 2 ft behind me lunging and talking with a 30 lbs barbell. Ugh, I hate these people!

I guess that’s better than being a chick with one.

You'll be on a TikTok of her talking about how much of a creep you are. I look forward to Joey Swole defending you

"accidentally" drop a 50lb dumb bell right center tripod leg as you walk by. Whoopsie.

Gyms allow this? Seems like most would have rules against it. There's a difference between form checking and being a nuisance.

Honestly...... Look at her, tell her to STFU, to get away from me and be sure not to blink the entire time you look at her.

I’m assuming a commercial gym?
Maybe look for another gym?

Depends on the gym. We allow it at my gym, but we have several competitors with coaches who need to see their lifts. It’s just understood that some people will be recording their sets. It’s never an issue, though. If it the tripod is in your way, you have every right to ask for it to be moved. Commercial gyms won’t give a shite until it becomes an issue. If she’s really hampering your workouts, go complain to the manager. Recording your sets is one thing, filming your ling format content is something else.

Accuse her of stalking you and following you around the gym. Make it loud enough that she won't be able to use her content until she moves the tripod.

Or ask her to move as she's encroaching in your area.

Posted this before but there is some YouTube fitness clown in my gym who brings not only a tripod but extra lighting and the umbrella thing for better 'lighting' and he also has a spray bottle of water that he uses as fake sweat

Its absurd.
