Anyone a member there? I’m looking at rejoining after years away. Would need access to both Perkins locations.
What are you paying for your membership? Pros/cons of working out there ?
Yes, I know I can go in and ask, check the websites, etc. But I also know some people get better deals than others.

I believe I pay 29$ for access to both locations.
I prefer Southdowns location, more open and less packed. Friendly staff and gym patrons as well. More platforms and Donna does a good job at running things there. One downside is they charge 1$ for towels now
Perkins is okay gym wise; more machines but just a weird atmosphere there. It does have a nicer locker room, more showers, steam room, bigger etc but I still prefer Southdowns.

Pros: it gets the job done, close enough to go to whatever one is less busy, both have a women’s only area if that matters to you, plenty of classes if that’s your thing
Cons: most day to day employees are teenagers, not the cleanest or newest gym (but not the oldest or dirtiest)

I was a member before I moved. The one on Kenilworth is filled with old people and dudes. Equipment is average.

I just started going there a few months ago. It's nothing special but it gets the job done. Has enough equipment for a little of everything. It has a sauna and steamroom which is nice because I love using the sauna.

Do all locations have both sauna and steam?

Not sure. I go only to the one in Kenilworth area.

What about access to the locations in Central, Zachary, and Monterrey? Those are Spectrum gym too?

Yeah.. Denham, too.
I think you can pay for the ability to use all of the Spectrums or a lower cost for just one if you have no need for the others.

Unfortunately, the Spectrum in Zachary is independently owned and does not honor memberships from Kenilworth and South Downs.
