What gym is the best in BR?

I like Spectrum Southdowns a lot. 22$ a month, great hours, good crowd, and has most of the amenities I like.
I know Baton Rouge doesn't have a Red Lerille's type of gym but what is the "best" according to you?

I’m a fan of Anytime Fitness
Lots of locations, tons of equipment, staff very knowledgeable and always willing to coach if you ask. I also like their app. I can build workouts and keep up with my progression without having to lug a notebook around.

When I lived in mid city that was my gym. Really miss it now that I’m a gold’s in Prairieville.

The Anytime in Dutchtown is really nice and has a lot. Went into the one on Airline just outside Praireville.... bad mistake. Not sure how that thing is still open.

Worked at Spectrum Southdowns for 3 years. Miss that gym. How's the upkeep? When I was in town last I stopped in for a workout and a few machines were broken. Hope they are keeping it up.

Spectrum has turned into the gym for HS kids recently, no idea what happened. A lot of these dip shits are working out in polos

I like to go in the morning at Southdowns and it's usually empty with a few regulars who tend to be older. Only time I see HS kids are in the afternoon or maybe the weekend

Southdowns is OK. It used to be a lot better before Spectrum bought it. The high school kids in the afternoon aren't that bad if you ask me. There's a lot of them but at least they follow basic gym "etiquette" for the most part. It's some of the older members that get on my nerves. The Anytime behind Whole Foods is decent too but the one downtown is straight garbage.

Anytime off Burnside in Gonzales is the nicest I’ve ever been to. I had an anytime membership for about 7 years while in college and grad school. I’ve probably been to 30-40 across Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas and Florida. One off burnside beats them all.

I mean the UREC is undoubtedly the best gym in BR. Likely somewhere near the top in best gyms in the country. If you are an alum you can join
