Advice Needed: OSB or Plywood for Subfloor in a New Manufactured Home?

I have a friend that is planning to purchase a new manufactured home. It seems now days the builders are using OSB, instead of plywood. My thinking is 3/4 inch tongue and groove plywood would be better, but I've spoken to some carpenters that say OSB is a good product. Anyone here with some subflooring expertise that can offer some advice and wisdom? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Advantech is the way to go. You don’t have to worry about it getting soft and the layers peeling if it ever gets wet.

Yes, the new OSB for sub flooring is a good product. But still, plywood is a better product in the long run. Cost wise, it depends what they want to spend.

Thanks. After researching I like the info on the LP Legacy. It uses gorilla glue as the adhesive and comes with a lifetime warranty. Thinking this would be the best way to go.

I just put down 2200 sqft of it. Very good product.

Don't know why people overthink this stuff. OSB is perfectly fine. If it gets wet, something else has gone wrong and no wood-based product is going to do well when exposed to moisture. Current OSB is still cheaper, easily cut, and is more dimensionally stable than most other ply products.
