Any experience with elastomeric or mold/mildew resistant paints for exterior?

Getting the house painted soon, all stucco areas. The front face of the house receives very little sunlight and tends to stain.

Anyone know about these stain-resistant type paints?

I don't have much experience but I thought pretty much all stucco was painted with Elastomeric. That may just be in my area along the gulf coast though.

In BTR I have wood trim and some wood siding rather than stucco which limits the usefulness of my advice. A professional painter does the house every 5 - 7 years. He always gets an exterior paint from Sherman Williams and has them mix in an anti-mildew additive. As part of his prep, he does a soft wash which includes an anti-mildew agent. I have never seen mildew on the house...sunny side...shady side...wet or dry. He's definitely doing something right.
