Anyone use Home Depot for carpet sales and installation?

Great but make sure you follow the rules for the warranty, have to get it cleaned professionally. Check the details.

I used Lowes a long time ago. It went fine, they subbed out the flooring installers back. I think Home Depot did as well. I suspect they both still do.

We used them for carpet and LVP installation in 2022.

I'd probably use them again for carpeting, but regret using them for the LVP installation as our floors are already giving us problems, and the installation was only warrantied for a year.

I just tried to get an estimate and the gal they put in charge of carpeting didn’t know how to calculate square footage from a blueprint. Couldnt convert square feet to square yards. Couldn’t even get a price per square foot for the carpet I choose. So I went home and did it myself on the Home Depot website. But it was only $499 less than local floor company and noooo way do I want to deal with anyone even 50% better than the “expert” at the store if that is what they gonna send out.
