Armyworm Egg Residue

I had a small armyworm problem right before dormancy last fall that I was too late to prevent so I let them eat to see what damage I had this spring. Happy to say I haven’t noticed anything, and even forgot about them. Except for the egg residue all over my outdoor kitchen ceiling.

Is there any product that will make removing these easier?

I have already put one treatment down, got me bad last year, if you see webs moths flying you better treat.

Yes, they hatched in the fall. Ate up about a quarter of my backyard. By the time I noticed them it was too late to treat. No damage to the lawn though, it’s prettier than ever right now and it’s only April.

I will pre-treat this summer though, although I don’t like putting chemicals down.
