I know, of course, that the costs of an outdoor kitchen depend on the details; but can anyone provide a ballpark cost or a range for outdoor kitchens, or tell me how much theirs cost? We are in southern Louisiana. We'd like the kitchen to have its own roof, to include a grill, sink, cooler, icemaker, and fireplace, and be wired for sound and TV. Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you.

glad you moved this over here, very interested in the responses. Buying a home next year and would love to look into setting up an outdoor kitchen as well

I had one built at 10 ft long with fridge, sink, as drawers and under sink doors and side burner with granite top and stacked stone sides. Didn’t need a cover and just had a space for my primo. Not including the primo and getting a deal on the appliances and equipment cost me about 12k. Priced a gazebo cover about 12x 20 and it was going to be significantly more, like 25k. I’d say you could expect a range of 35-50k without getting too fancy. That could obviously double quickly, mine was fairly basic.

Hard to say...

Do you have a slab already?

Patio style roof or tying into existing home roof with a new gable?

How many feet of counter space?

Brickwork? (Fireplace, halfwall...??)

Minimum no frills 25K and it could easily get to 50K.

I had a 16’x30’ built last year. Slab was already there so just cover (raised seam roof tied into existing roof) outdoor kitchen, brick walls, granite countertops, audio, and all plumbing and gas. Oh, ice maker, grill, hood vent, fridge, power burner and cabinets. Roughly ~$45K.

ETA - I did all electrical wiring, speaker wiring, wood ceilings, staining, and installation of all A/V on my own.

Not in LA, but Katy, TX. We’re getting ready to expand our covered patio. Current size is 12x16. This part will become the outdoor kitchen. Adding another section 14x30 covered, with and additional 5 feet uncovered on the end. Stained cathedral ceiling with crow’s foot over a portion of the area. Fireplace, fans, lighting, speakers, etc.. Kitchen will have a 44” gas grill, double side burner, warming drawer, fridge, sink, and a few combination storage/access units. Granite countertops, with raised bar height section in kitchen area. Quotes ranged from $47k-$56k.

25k for basic if nothing pre existing, can spend anything you want essentially to finish it depending on the equipment, stone, granite etc
