My WORX 56 battery is going out and they discontinued that battery. (This is fricking bullshite! ). Which system out there has the best leaf blower and a decent battery life?

Dewalt 60V. I own 2 of them. Replaced my Ego with it.

Currently have an EGO 765cfm blower. I bought a stubby nozzle from Amazon and use it to dry my car after washing it. I believe they are coming out with a 1,000cfm blower next year if you're willing to wait.
If you have batteries from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Kobalt, etc. and don't want to start another line of batteries, take a look at what each brand offers.

Those things are like $300 each bare tool no batteries... You need to change your name to Richie Rich...
ETA... I took a look around and cordless blowers are ridiculously expensive... so I take the Richie Rich comment back...

I bought the Dewalt 60v blower and weed eater combo when they had a sale. Really like both - the blower has been really good for me.

What brand of battery stuff do you have? I’ve got a bunch of Milwaukee stuff, so obviously bought the blower. Gets the job done and better my wife can use it

Stihl BR650 never worried about batteries.

I have a Bosch drill/impact wrench. The blower was my only other battery tool. My gas weed-eater probably only has a couple years left and I was considering going battery for that next time too. So, I should probably consider that too… who makes the best combo?

I have one of the ego 56 volt, not sure which one. It’s definitely one of the bigger ones. Works great for me, good battery life and lots of power for what I need.

Check Amazon, they might have an adapter so you can. Use the worx with a different battery. I did that with my dewalt batteries so I can use cheapo bauer tools with them.
I have an Ego and I love it. No complaints.

got the green works 80v 730cfm with the 4AH battery and so far so good. the battery is heavy as shite but the variable speed switch is so nice. can put it super low around delicate areas.
only gripe is there is a high pitch whistle when the nozzle attachment is on and the speed is set to over half power. not a huge deal since i use ear plugs, but without ear plugs its pretty unbearable.

If you love the tool rebuild the battery. I'm sure there is a video online or pay somebody on Etsy to build you a converter so you can use any brand battery you like.

Please don’t do this without investing $200+ in a good spot welder. I haven’t had a lot of luck with the $20 variety, especially with heavier nickel.
A quick Amazon search confirms your issue and that you are rightfully pissed, but I’d bet the aftermarket won’t take long to pull through with suitable replacements.
Unless you have unlimited space, get a blower that shares batteries with your other tools. I use all Dewalt 20v and while they’re not the most powerful, they’re good enough and super convenient to have several large batteries available for any job.

Same here. I got the hedge trimmer too. Love both of them. The blower and the inflator are the two things that drain the M18 batteries the most...and I can blow the entire yard after cutting and still have 2 LEDs lit so only 1/2 charge. I can trim all my hedges and have 3 LEDs lit. That little inflator is a godsend.
