Google says a 50/50 vinegar and water solution kills on contact and will maybe keep them away for a bit.
Anyone tried this? Wanted to ask before I made a trip to the store.
Seven doesn't kill sugar ants apparently. And neither did any of the indoor/outdoor sprays I have..
Tough little boogers.

I spray Dawn Powerwash in their tracks and also put Terro ant baits as close to the source as possible and maybe another couple somewhere along the line.

Terro ant bait stations. Or, the Terro liquid in the bottles is the same thing. They actually take that bait back to the nest and share it.

I'll sit there drinking a beer watching the dumb little ant shite heads walk into the traps and walk out back towards their home to kill their family. Little frickers!

Idk about outside but advion ant gel works on inside. All of a sudden those frickers were everywhere in my pantry. I tried and tried to get rid of them. Finally used this stuff and they were gone in a day.

It is amazing how quickly they find it. You put the bait down and five minutes later there is a solid line around it. I use the bottled stuff mostly and put it on on a glass coaster deal because it doesn't dry out as quickly.

Terro works great. I don’t use the trap, but just pour the gel all around the area on the ground and let them eat it. They cluster around and will be gone in a day.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to start with the vinegar and water solution. See how that works. If it doesn't, I'll move on to the other options provided.

Update
50/50 vinegar water seemed to do the trick. No sugar ants on my front porch, and hasn't been for days so far.
Good cheap sugar ant killer.
