Best tool for cutting metal landscape edging?

I’m installing metal edging around some flower beds and walkways. It only comes in 4’ and 8’ lengths. What is the best tool for cutting this stuff?

Go get a cheap angle grinder from Harbor Freight.

I just used an angle grinder with a cutting wheel when I did ours, it cuts it just fine.

Angle grinder and make sure you paint the cut edges so they don't rust.

I'm thinking the metal edging is thin...like 1/8 inch, so it can be cut easily with a tin snips.

Snips or bolt cutter. Did the same thing this summer. If you snip the top and bottom edge where you want to cut it, then just bend it back and forth until is breaks. Hit any burrs with a file or grinder if desired and maybe spray the edge with a little matching paint.

angle grinder. you will wonder how you survived without one.

I hate dealing with that stuff.
Pretty sure I sprained my wrist taking the two metal spikes off that are tack welded on the ends of each piece.
If I had to pick the best tool out there to cut the edging, it would be this RIDGID SubCompact Saw. I used a drimmel which took forever but worked.

angle grinder as everyone else said or a metal bit on a jigsaw, if you have one of those. hell a new hacksaw blade would be plenty of you only need to cut a couple.

put a carbide blade on your chop saw if you have one. much cheaper (and easier) than buying a grinder

A hacksaw with a fine blade would cut that metal. Or... if it is fairly thin, "score" the metal with a box cutter knife and then bend it back and forth to break it off.

If you are using a tungsten carbide blade it really should be one for ferrous metal or a multi-saw blade. You want flat top triple chip grind teeth with no rake, most wood blades with a TCG will have a 10-degree or higher rake. If the wood blade you have has an alternate top bevel grind depending on the grade of WC used it will either crack off all the side bevels or dull the shite out of them in a couple of seconds.
If you have a miter saw with enough capacity (you can use a slider but I would lock it and not use the slider) you can just get an abrasive cut-off wheel for $6 or so for a 10" saw just make sure the wheel is rated for the rpm your saw runs and PLEASE were eye protection. I have cut a lot of angle and tube steel with an old Craftsman 10" miter saw and an abrasive blade.

I used a bandsaw and it worked great.

I can tell you what not to cut it with bc I didn’t have an angle grinder at the time.
Oscillating saw
Reciprocating saw
Tin snips
Teeth
As others have said, cheap angle grinder from HF.
