Volt lights are probably the best but you'll have to get them wired up. For non wired ones, the ones at Sam's have been holding up for me

Define "good" because solar lights don't provide a whole lot of light. They're great if you want some minor accent lighting in spots of your yards. If you want actually light coverage you're better off getting wired lights.

This board has at least a half dozen recent threads on this topic.
Volt Lighting 12v wired landscaping lights are the most durable and attractive you'll find, but their selection of solar lights is slim and ugly.
The electronics in consumer solar lights typically last no more than 3 years. To go with disposable electronics the fixture bodies are usually cheaply made and ugly.
Home Depot has started selling a $60 wireless-controllable solar light from FEIT, that company that was first-to-market with LED lightbulbs.
Those early FEIT LED lightbulbs had terrible reliability.
Would be interested to know if anyone has tried these FEIT wireless-controllable solar lights.

what is a good replacement battery?
We buy the Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries in bulk, since the lights generally fail sooner than the replacement batteries.

Ones that provide a lot of light.

We live on a wooded lot. We have been happy with JSOT 600 LM Solar Spotlights that we purchased from Amazon. We use the Cool White version and put them on the low setting but they still put out better than expected and surprisingly good light. We also have LED 2700K Warm White Rope lights and string lights that are wired and remote controlled for outdoor lighting.
We have 16 of these solar lights around our house for over a year now. Most of them probably average about 3 hours of direct sunlight a day in the summer when our property is shaded the most. They have been working great. They are bright from dusk until about 3AM every day and are still putting out some light until sunrise. They have been doing this for over a year.
They seem to charge very well even with little direct sunlight. If it's very cloudy/raining all day, then they are not as bright and will not stay on all night, but that is to be expected.
They are kind of expensive but worth it. The solar panel is big enough and these are easy to adjust where the light should shine and the optimum direction of the solar panel.
We tried 4 and quickly realized how well they worked so we bought more. Some are used to light up our house and garages, and others are zip tied to the rails on a 2nd floor upper deck and light up our back yard and one side yard. We also have several lighting up parts of our driveway and parking area
Most people are going to tell you to only use wired lights and solar lights are crap or they are only good for accent lighting. I agree that good wired lights are brighter and arguably better, but these particular solar lights are plenty good for us and are more versatile and less costly. You can easily move them around to optimize where you place them so they are very versatile. I have even hunted varmints at night from our back deck with the light these solar lights put out. I will also sometimes use a couple of them down at our lake front to attract fish. I just pull one or more up and take them where I want them and then put them back.
You can try these and if you don't like them, then send them back to Amazon for a full refund within 30 days of purchase with free Prime returns. That's what I did for several other solar lights that I tried before finding these.
