costco. they have about 6 different models & put them on sale all the time. we have a 2 person one that we paid $1k for. we love it and use it all the time.

eta not the exact model but it looks almost exactly like this:

the only downside with IR saunas vs traditional is that it takes about 20 minutes to get up to maximum temp. it tops out at 151 degrees but you can 'game' it by grabbing the little temp dongle that hangs down from the top with your fingers to make it think the temp is 20 degrees cooler and it will get really nice & hot.

i checked out costco and pretty slim pickings right now. they usually have 10-12 models. i'm guessing supply line issues.

I guarantee you all of these will go on sale for $500 off (well maybe not the bottom one) soon. Costco puts these on sale 2 or 3x a year so that's the best time to buy.

Not sure I'd know where to put one, but I'd love a sauna.

When we redid our master bathroom we planned space for one. It's perfect. You get out and jump in the shower.

I love them, but have never been a fan of them attached or inside of the home.

On a side note, we just replaced the stove for a sauna that's about 8x9. It used to take forever for the thing to heat up. We refurbished an old stove and replaced the oil burner with one from an old incinerator. It's on a thermostat so it turns off at about 185-190 but it only takes about 10 minutes to get to that temp.
