Can I use the pre-mixed canned fuel in a brand new weed eater?

I've heard good things from people about the pre mixed cans of fuel for 2 cycle engines. It's "ethanol free pre mixed gas+oil ready for use in 40:1/50:1 2-cycle engines" according to the info on the can.
My question is: Is it safe to run for the first tank? This is my first new weed eater purchase in about 10 years as I bought my last one used 6 years ago. I assume it's safe to use, but just wanted to get some feedback if anyone else has done it. Or should I just go ahead and mix my own?

Yes. I've got a MS391 and a CSG-7410 that have ran pre-mix Echo Red Armor since day 1.

Cool. Thanks.
I didn't think it would be an issue, but just wanted to make sure as I've had horrible luck with two cycle engines besides the one I referred to in my OP. And of course, it was used and performed better than just about every new machine I've ever bought.

I've done it on multiple new gas powered machines . No problems .

Should be fine. I bought a Husqvarna last year and they were running a promo that if you bought a gallon of their premixed fuel they would add 4 years to the warranty. Haven’t had any problems with it yet.

I have a 7 year old Wal Mart Weededater. The only that's ever run through it is the Tru Fuel out the can. Starts up every time!.

Yes, no problem for the avg person.
The only issues I see which is very rare is the fuel makes the unit run hotter.
Very rarely you get someone running the trimmers 1/2 throttle as they are not use to the power. Again, relates to more of a commercial unit with more power than a residential unit.
Then if you run a trimmer at 1/2 throttle the carb not spraying enough oil/fuel mixture in to the intake to keep the unit properly lubed.
They will eventually burn up.
I seen this very rarely and it is more someone moving from a residential designed unit to a stronger commercial unit.

This makes 0 sense dude.
The air is what makes a lean mixture in a 2 stroke. Lean mixtures burn hotter. If it’s at 1/2 throttle it should be getting 1/2 the air. Sounds like the carb was out of adjustment or some other issue making it run lean.

I never knew premixed channel fuel was a thing. Learn something new everyday

A former coworker (refinery ChE) said he only used premium gas in his yard tools (2 and 4 cycle).
I switched to premium and add Startron treatment to reduce the ethanol content, never had any issues. Not cheap but cheaper than premixed.

Jus Trollin, you don’t know crap dude!!!!
The fuel burns hotter as it is a racing type fuel as it was first developed for model racing cars.
I have seen maybe 20 in the past few years that burnt up due to this. It was more customers not running them the way the units were designed versus carb issues.
Please tell us how many units you work on, how many hours have you spent in dealer repair certification classes, or how many factories you visited as a dealer to see them test the units on this fuel.
It has been more of a positive than a negative as you have less fuel related issues from wrong mixture of oil, fuel separation, or even people running straight fuel in them.
I love those people that come in swearing the unit is bad. Open the gas cap and the fuel smells like sour milk. Pour the bad fuel out and put a can of pre mixed fuel in. The unit cranks right up. The look on their face is priceless.
Yes. I seen atleast one mfg using these products at their testing facility to run their units during the testing phase.

Not sure where you are, but in South Louisiana, most Racetrack stations sell non-ethanol gas, use a quality 2 stroke oil and a bit of Seafoam in your gas can, and you are gtg
