Looking to get something that'll take out some stains from the baby and future 2nd baby that'll be here soon. We have a rug that has normal stains and a fabric couch that hasn't been taken care of recently, but we'd want it to look better with regular cleaning. I would also probably use this to detail our cars. Saw these online but not sure which attachments would best suit my needs:

Hoover CleanSlate Plus Carpet & Upholstery Spot Cleaner, Stain Remover, Portable, FH14050, White

Shark Carpet Cleaner Machine, Portable Upholstery StainStriker, Spot, Odor & Stain Remover, 2 Carpet Cleaner Solutions, 4 Tools, Perfect for Pet Hair, Carpet, Area Rugs, Couches, Nordic Blue, PX202BRN

BISSELL® Little Green® Max Pet Portable Carpet and Upholstery Deep Cleaner, Car/Auto Detailer, with Self-Cleaning Tough Stain Tool and Pet Hair Removal Tool (3860)

Don't buy any of those pieces of crap. They are junk designed to breakdown and waste your money so you buy something again or similar for another $200.

This is what I have and I use it for upholstery, carpets, rugs, (accepts commercial-grade carpet wands), and vehicles. Had several Bissell LGCM models over the years, they never worked nearly as well as this one and it will probably outlive me as far a durability. It is a lot more money but your babies will be making messes for the next decade+ so better to buy something that will work for the long-term.
