Any cheap landscape edging that works? I have about 200' of beds I'd like to keep the grass out of and the mulch in.
The metal edging is best but I'd prefer not to spend a fortune on it.
The no dig stuff just seems like it won't cut it.

Any recs?

dig it out.
a small channel swell, spade shovel width, about 2" deep just enough to separate the grass from the mulch. then its easy to maintain with the weed eater to edge.
and its free. other than a little labor.

He's looking for something like this. The metal strips are expensive and especially so when needing 200'.

LINK

Edit to the OP: It's plastic and I don't know if it's any good. As you probably know you get what you pay for and it likely won't hold up as well as metal.

I've tried this stuff before and it was a major PIA. I ended on using the metal in some places. LINK And used landscape rocks others. LINK

They come in trapezoid, square, rectangle, etc. But they aren't cheap either.

That's kind of what I was looking for. Cheaper option and looks more ridgid than the no dig stuff.

That stuff does not stay straight and ends up looking like crap.

Could I use redwood? How long before it would rot out?

I'm not spending the money on the metal, I'll just keep weedeating and hand pulling but would prefer some option to make it easier that doesn't cost a fortune.

I do what LSUTIGERTAILG8ER said. Just get you a good grass edge. I have a cheap battery operated weed eater that the foot turns so the handle is still right side up (without having to turn it upside down) and you can cut a nice, clean edge.

I prefer bricks ($.69/each) set in a concrete/mortar bed.

Little bit of work to get them in but very inexpensive and I set them to a height so I can ride my mower over them to avoid trimming.

I’m sure I’m in the minority but I hate all those hard landscape edges. I use liriope or logs/split firewood
