Convert flat roof to pitched roof (shed)

I have a 12x18 shed w/ a flat roof and I am trying to figure out how to add more storage space. All I can come up with is change from a flat roof to a pitched roof.
Anyone know what that would run me?

Not enough info. What type roof do you plan on using?
Shingles---Need heavier framing, sheathing, tarpaper, drip edge and shingles.
Sheet metal----I'd go with the same framing( 2 x 6 )for rafters but you'll need to run 1x4's to have something to screw the metal to, sheets of metal, ridge cap and trim pieces to dress it up if you plan on making it look nice.
Metal goes up much quicker.

Add a section to make your wall “taller” on one side, maybe a foot or so. Not sure what kind of existing overhang you have though.

How much extra storage are you trying to get and what are you trying to store? Do you have room to expand the footprint of the storage shed? The cost more to pull the roof and reframe will cost almost as much as a new shed.

I would just like to be able to use my shed for little projects every now and again. Right now it's packed! So if I could get some of the stuff that's rarely used up and out of the way, it would be nice. I don't want to tear down and build new bc it is ON the property line and currently grandfathered in. If I tear it down, I'll have to move it 3 feet in 2 directions.
I could close in one section that is currently an overhang and have an L shaped shed I guess. Probably smarter since I did just put on a new rubber roof last year.

Check your local building codes about that. In New Orleans, you can build the original footprint if you leave X amount of the original building up as you expand on your property. I see it all the time in the Mid-City area where crews will tear down everything but the portion on the property line and a bit of the façade, and start building new from there.
Oh, and know if married, no amount of expansion will give you the room you want since it will be filled with even more crap.

once you reach this size its no longer a "shed", thats a small garage
also that is way too much garage for a flat roof
to be honest, raising the roof is not gonna give you much extra storage space at all for the work involved. why dont you just enlarge it to 18x18 and go with a traditional 4 sided roof like this LINK
