What are they currently charging per sq ft in the Hammond area? Anyone built with them recently?

Got a quote recently for $167.00 per sq ft for a 2,500 sq ft home. My lot is paid for.

I just got some prices on Friday. Go to their site and look at floor plans. These were all prices based on southern farmhouse exterior style, which is the most expensive. The Forbes $378k, the Roussel $384k, The Fernandez $368k, Grand Hawke $339. These are for the house only, no site prep/utilities or land costs. Basic finishes. Note that the finished photos you see on their site are some upgraded finishes.
I just want to add that I wouldn’t hesitate to go meet with them. There is no financial commitment with them until after they complete your estimate. They also have about 5 of their homes built at their office in Ponchatoula that they can take you through. Seems like a good operation.

They are really nice and appear to be good people. My in-laws built a home with Cretin in 2009. It's a very nice home and they have not had many issues.
The recent quotes that I received from Cretin does not include the driveway, just keep that in mind.

What kind of parent names their child Cretin?

It's the two last names of the builders.
