I hate to piggyback off one of the threads earlier, but does anyone have good experience with any builders around the area?
Already have plans. Lots of guys I work with are all, “Do it yourself, you’ll save tons of money.” But I know what I am and am not good at. I’m not ready to go first time experience sub out my own home and screw this up. So, just looking for any good recommendations.

WS homes. Warren Spier. Built ours and were berry happy with him. I’d assume he goes towards Denham.

Taylor Braud with Traditions, LLC out of Baton Rouge. They've built my last 2 custom homes...one in 2012 and one in 2019.

I would look up Jeansonne properties on Facebook and look at his work. I have been highly pleased with the build, and his prices beat a lot of other builders I talked to in the area. He has custom spec homes that he builds, but also builds custom homes. I had my own plans and he has been great to work with.

Tim Kinchen Fine Homes, built our house in 2003, remodeled after the flood of 2016, and currently using him for outdoor kitchen/patio extended roofline.
I know Steve McLin well from our days at SLU and he is definitely a great choice also.

I can second Jeansonne, he built my neighbors house and was a lot more involved than I’ve see most builders.

I second Jeansonne or Danny Gallman. Danny is higher per sq/ft, but he is adamantly involved from start to finish. Chances are, if you see something not right, he’s already seen it and is in the works of getting it corrected

Carrol Construction is out of Clinton but have done homes in Livingston. Very satisfied with my experience.
