Does anyone do their own termite control? Do you recommend it? Looking into installing my own bait systems around my house, in New Orleans.

Bifen XTS is an oil based insecticide that contains 25.1% bifenthrin and provides water resistant, long lasting residual control. Broad-label Bifen XTS is an excellent choice for PMP's and customers looking for a high performance, cost effective Bifenthrin product for outdoor perimeter pest control, turf and ornamentals, or pre and post construction termite treatment.

I ring my house with imadacloprid granules once a year. I have out bait traps. Last year I found termites once in a trap and used Taurus on a stump in the yard and trench next to house and didn't get anymore. I had a Terminix contract at one time but then they started requiring you to be at home when they did their yearly inspections which was aggravating. Also they changed the tech assigned to my house and the new guy said 2 years in a row it was too wet to get under my house. I looked crawl space bone dry. That said up here we obviously don't have termites up here as bad as South La. But we do hve them.
