Is there anything I can do to combat the nuclear piss my dog has that is putting spots throughout the yard?

Water. Sorry it’s the only solution. I had two dogs until recently and I had pee spots everywhere. Turns out only one was making them. She passed away a couple months ago and the pee spots are gone.

As others have said water. Also, look up how to train a dog to go in only one spot. Easier to manage. Worked well with my dog.

Not sure how it happens, but some dog's pee kills the grass, when others do not.

I think it has to do with diet.
We switched my dog's food and it started killing the grass. I don't care though, he uses the bathroom in a deep dark corner of my yard every time.

Yes, to this. Take a cup of water and throw it on where ever they go. It will be dark green but not burnt
[Edit] It is fertilizer. And just like fertilizer it will burn if put on too heavily. So, dog pee is great for your lawn, just not too concentrated.

Have a grass guy come look. It's likely not "piss spots". There is a grass fungus that looks like a random "piss spot" pattern.
