Looking to get a price to replace my concrete driveway. Roughly 22ft x 150ft. What would the going rate be for something like that? Located in the Hammond area.

Thats around 7k just for the concrete. Add in demo, haul off, grade work, stabilization (if needed), forms/keyway, labor, equipment, misc materials, and whatever the contractor needs to make to make it worth their while - you are looking at north of 30k easy.

I had one done a while back. My friend is a concrete salesman in BTR. He gave me three names. We compared prices. They were all close in price. Remember to use expansion joints, use fiber expansion material on existing concrete. Let me know if you need more information.
Get in touch with a concrete salesman, get folks he would use.

I have a similar size driveway that needs to be replaced. I was hoping it could be done for 30k, but not based on these numbers.

I was a place/finish superintendent for about 11 years, then a concrete salesman for over 8 years. Back when I was pouring we did a residental driveway in between jobs (we mostly did commercial and industrial). This was maybe in 2012 or 2013 or so. Similar size and scope - tear out and replace. Added some square footage for a patio extention and added a small sidewalk. 6" thick on the driveway and 4" on the patio and sidewalks. Used fiber and installed keyway joints. I charged around 25k and thought that was very fair at the time. We didn't make a ton but did ok for a small job in between projects. This was back when concrete was a little less than $100 per yard. Prices have gone way up since then. I don't sell concrete any more but its in the 130's-150's now depending on the mix and the customer. Best thing you can do is call a concrete salesman in the area and let them recommend a few small contractors. That will set you up with someone that does this professionally and the contractor will get better pricing than you will on most materials.

After reading the responses, I think I would be going with gravel...
Holy crap.. $30-40k. That's a serious chunk of money.

Look into something like TrueGrid permeable pavers. Money savings may or may not be what you want, but look into it.

The problem with gravel is constant maintenance and wash out. I have an old asphalt driveway that's been washed out and trying to figure out what to do next. Either asphalt again with concrete curb on each side to reduce washout or full concrete driveway.
