I currently have a Worx leaf blower and it works great except for the heavy, wet leaves that get in my deep diches. My bad back will not allow me to get a gas blower.

Which is best? They are about the same price and on sale. Lowe's has the Ego and Tractor Supply has the Greenworks models

I have the 765cfm Ego and it's a beast. Don't miss my old gas blowers at all

Ego is going to be better across the board but which models are you looking at? There are 4 or 5 different Ego blowers. I imagine only the entry level Ego would be comparable to anything Greenworks. But I could be wrong.

You mention shopping models on sale right now, but dealing with wet leaves in a ditch are going to need more power than base models.

I have a couple Egos. The basic 530 cfm that came in the string trimmer combo but never use it since upgrading to the 765 cfm version. Biggest difference in the upgraded models, beyond more power, is variable speed control using the trigger. A nice feature in those models; makes it feel like a gas unit. Just something else to consider.

I am very satisfied with my ego blower and trimmer. I’m looking to expand my collection. Chain saw and edged. And eventually hedge trimmer.

I bought the 765 cfm ego. It is a beast. Using the turbo option constantly will drain that 5ah battery with a quickness though.

I’m not sure. I know you can buy knock offs for dewalt, have not looked for ego.

That Greenworks blower there is a far better deal.
You just need to consider if you're going to purchase any other battery powered tools so your batteries are all interchangeable.. Get something compatible to the voltage series you want.
I have the 60V blower, weed eater, push mower, and chain saw. Elated with every one of them.

Thanks for the link. I may jump on this after finding some reviews on it.

This is what I did when I got into Worx. I bought two weed eaters (one for me (big) and one for my wife (small), blower, drill, air inflater, vacuum cleaner and several flashlighs.

The Greenworks would be designated mainly for leaf blowing. When I got the Worx blower I thought it would work, but over the years I had to a lot of extra work on the heavy wet leaves.

I did a lot of searching for comparisons and the Ego won most of them. But it is roughly $130 more than the Greenworks. I also did some top rated searches and the Ego was #1 in most of them.

Thanks, I did not see that the sale was ending at midnight. It is purchased and it will be shipped to me free being my local BB does not have it in stock.

I found one use of the 80v battery if needed. Greenworks has an inverter that the battery plugs into. This could be used to charge phones or power up a laptop in case of a power failure. I always make sure all of my batteries are charged up when there is a chance of storms.

I can't speak of the blower but my Greenworks batteries are the real deal. My oldest ones for my lawnmower are 10+ years old and still rotating with another set about 6 years old.

I wouldn't bet my house on saving a few dollars on a hi-cap knock off lion battery from China.

Just buy ego for peace of mind. They designed the chargers and batteries to work together.

ETA watch a few videos on run away lithium batteries and I think you'll have your answer.

I bought an off brand battery on Amazon for $100. It works fine for now but I’m not expecting to get the longevity I would with the Ego brand.

I'm just paranoid. After that golf cart inferno in Metairie it had me rethinking my strategy of having a bunch of batteries on chargers in my garage.

Looking to add a powered shed and I damn sure plan to move all my chargers to it.

...but I'm also the guy with like 6 fire extinguishers in my house.
