Quarantine project given to me by my wife for our almost 2 year old son...

Just put it all together, and it appears as though I was overzealous with the drill and put too many holes in it b/c the water only shoots about 4-5" out of the pipes. What's the odds of me being able to clog a few of the holes with the PVC glue(to avoid another trip to Lowes), or should I just bite the bullet and get some PVC cement.

PVC Glue or Cement (not sure what you’re saying is the difference here) won’t really work well. It’s a contact cement That bonds by chemically bonding the PVC components.

I would think any RTV Silicone or something similar would work fine. Could even wrap it with tape.

The height will be driven by the diameter of the holes as well. They will need to be very small to get any type of height.

Oh and sprinklers are cheap baw.

not gonna make much difference unless you want to use about 30 different coatings on it. maybe put screws in all the holes and flip it over and drill new holes or just go buy more pipe and try again

cut off the 90s and use straight couplings and stick it in the flower bed for watering the flowers if you want to make use of what you made there and start over

could very well be the diameter of the hole. What size bit?

We have 3 or 4 already. She saw it somewhere online and wanted one for the kid and it gave me a reason to go to Lowes and gave me something to do for a bit.

A couple wraps with gorilla tape will hold.

wood + water = thats never gonna work

he could fill all the holes with caulking though, but its all about how much work he wants to put into a toy

PVC is cheap. Just go back to Lowes and buy more and start over. It gives you another excuse to leave the house

Had a small tube of silicon in the tool box that I tried yesterday. Doesn't look pretty but it did the job and made the sprinkler work 10x better for him. Not exactly sure that the silicon will hold so I might wrap with duck tape and then call it a day.
