Just got power back in Houston and one of my garage door openers is throwing an error code. Anyone have experience with this? It’s integrated into my home hub so changing is a PITA

Liftmaster 8550W with error code 1-5 for motor control. It will move about 6 inches then stop. Have a feeling something fried when the power came back on.

The sled is disconnected. It’s only moving that much with no load.

Unplug for 5 minutes and try again

If that don’t work press and hold reset button for 10 seconds and try again, once you get it working g might have to relearn your remotes, just went through this with mine after power went out for a few hours last week

No luck, looks like i'm replacing it. I'm putting a surge protector on this time. I've had to replace too many of these in the past few years.
