Anything I can use just around the 2 exterior doors and patio to keep geckos away?

They like hanging around the edge of the doors and one always seems to sneak in every time someone goes in and out of the house or lets the dog out at night.

They don't bother me, but my daughter is hysterically afraid of them and I'm tired of having to drop whatever I'm doing 2-3 times a night sometimes to chase geckos

Don't necessarily want to kill them. Just to keep them away from my doors.

You need to start a YouTube channel.

Lizards and Geckos Do Not like the smell of mint/eucalyptus and does keep them away.
mix mint oil or eucalyptus oil with water into a spray bottle spray on the threshold of doorway.

I've got wild mint growing everywhere on my property. I have more damn lizards and geckos than I can count.

The geckos are there to eat insects, so control your insect population around those areas and they'll go elsewhere.

You need to teach your daughter to take care of her own problems instead of relying on daddy for everything. Life Skills.

Catch as many as you can and call me. They are nature’s best pest control

I'm with you on this, not worried when they get in but hate when they get smashed when the door closes then there's Gecko guts everywhere.

I have one that lives in my mailbox.

And I haven't had many in the house until tonight when one ran in. You jinxed me.

Some light is probably sneaking out of your house and attracting insects which they perch and feed on.

Either eliminate the insects by spraying some Bifenthrin or eliminate the light that is attracting them.

They live all around my pool. They come under the pool fence and around the door. They live under my outdoor kitchen.

I had one die under our refrigerator inside. That thing stunk like high hell.

I know several females like this and I love asking them what the worst case scenario is. They generally don't like that question.

I don’t know, but they plaster themselves to my carport at night. And I swear my dogs are enjoying a buffet of them and lizards in my grass at night, as well. I don’t see other bugs that would be attracting them. Seems to be a summer thing.
