Getting a Locksmith to Re-Keyed House - Cost?

Need to get 3 house doors re-keyed. Deadbolts and door handles.
Anyone do this recently? Curious on the cost. I can’t imagine it’s going to be too much. I’m thinking 1 hour of work and it will be under $200, am I close or way off?
Any recommendations in Baton Rouge?
My in-laws are having health issues and I need to get their doors to one key for nurses and neighbors and whomever. Don’t ask me why the keys are different, and with the way the doors and garage is set up, some people need to go through front door, others need the garage but they must have the opener, etc. so 1 key is needed to solve this.

I had a locksmith install keypad deadbolts and handles on 4 doors and 2 new deadbolts on outside shop door for $500.

Just get 3 smart key sets and do it your self for under 250?

Did that at my house. I have no interest in doing it again for in-laws.

I also did the same with Schlage sets bought from Lowes on Millerville in BR two years ago.
I got 2 sets of deadbolt c/w handles with matching set numbers and Lowes rekeyed 2 other sets. I think the cost was about $10 additional for each set.

Home Improvement Direct 3 Pack Keyed Entry Door Knobs. Home Depot and Lowes sell these all day long.

I want a locksmith to come and do it. I want to pay someone to do the work.
I don’t want to take the time doing this at my in-law’s house and dealing with potential problems replacing lock hardware.

A year ago, I had a locksmith come out and rekey 6 doors worth of deadbolts/handles. It was next day service, and he did it without a key (the jackass previous owners allegedly didn't believe in locking their doors).
Cost somewhere in the $2-300 range. I was just grateful he could make it out there so quick.

If you are bringing the locks to the locksmith, it's pretty cheap. Maybe $15-20 each iirc from the last time I did it. If you are asking them to drive to you and do it at the house, I'm thinking maybe $200, but I could be off. They will have a trip charge or minimum.

I always use Alford safe and lock on Government. Been going there for about 20 years it seems. No issues.

Sorry, man, if you're calling the locksmith, you're still going to be the one dealing with the issues from the in-laws. You're just acting as the contractor to the sub contracted locksmith.
Print out a page of locksmiths from YellowPages.com and make them deal with it.

6 years ago had a locksmith come to Hessmer 3 doors, 3 deadbolts 1door knob about an hr about a 100, now probably 175-200. Nice having only 1 key for everything.

Less expensive to buy those Quickset locks that you can key yourself.

I get that you are trying for convenience. You can get cheap or convenient but rarely can you get both. If you’re in Baton Rouge you won’t find better people to deal with than Alford safe and lock. No idea of cost because I’ve never used them but know them personally. It might save you a bit of time to just call them and ask for a ballpark price.

Owned alot of rental properties.
All I did when I had one tenant move out and another tenant move is is pull off all my locks, bring to the locksmith to rekey to one key, and then I am done.
Last time I did it the charge was between $10 to $15 per knob & deadbolt.
When the quickset came out where you could rekey the locks yourself ,I ended up switching to those locks. Alot easier to deal with.
