Good mechanics on the Northshore

Anyone have a rec for a good, honest mechanic on the Northshore? We moved to Madisonville 7 years ago and never had a need for one until now. Figured this was the safest board to pose the question so any recs would be greatly appreciated. For your troubles…

Thank you for the rec but I should clarify that I’m hoping for one in the Madisonville/Covington/Mandeville area.

I live in Covington and I still take my car there, they're that good.

Tire Choice on 190. Used to be Atlas but they got bought. Super good guys and very honest. Not sure what exactly you need but I’d start there.

I’ve had good luck with Danny’s Automotive on Hwy 59 near the Trace Tunnel.
For tire and brake type jobs Autoville has been good to me.
If you’re trying to fix a Porsche, BMW, or Mercedes-Autowerks by Dallas on Hwy 190 has been good to me a few times. Last time I tried to use him he was booked for weeks.
My neighbor uses Christian Brothers on Hwy 22 and swears by them.
For Lexus and Toyota I’ve used Northshore Toyota for warranty jobs and been very pleased.
I’ve also used Honda of Covington for my Acura and Hondas and never have complaints.
You should be able to find a decent choice amongst those picks.
**I wouldn’t trust the lady in the first pic to work on your car though. She’s a little sketch on socket wrench operation by that pic.

Joey and Adrian at Car Medic on Hwy 59, hands down. Both of these men are as honest as they come in their line of work.

Car Medics is good. A little pricey but very straight.

Joey and Adrian @ car medics were the best but they sold it sometime ago.

Danny's is good and trustworthy but busy AF. Expect wait time.
Zoom Tech off Sharp's Rd has worked out OK for me too.
Both Mandeville.

I have used zoomtech before several times and recommend them, they replaced an alternator and it didn't really fix the problem so they put another in which did fix the problem and gave me no issues with replacing it under warranty and no cost to me. They are usually slammed with work.
For what it's worth I've heard bad things about Christian Brothers, not something I've gone too personally for though.

I've used Pellegrini for both my car and my wife's SUV and been really happy with their service.

Firestone in Mandeville has always been solid for us. Been going to them for years.

we use Autoville for most of our stuff. they've always been pretty decent to us.
does anyone have a good diesel-specific mechanic they like or recommend?

Same area, but I’m looking for recommendations on body work. I’ll gladly start with the two pictures.

Definitely. Danny sold it a few years back, but they're still really good.

Their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I guess they have to find some way to pay for the prime location and all the religious idols scattered about to make them look like God-fearing men.
